The municipality of Rincón de la Victoria covers 27.51 km2 and is located in a privileged location adjacent to the city of Malaga and serving as the gateway to the region of La Axarquía. This location means it enjoys a subtropical climate in which traditional dry land crops (vines, olives, almonds) give way to other more markedly tropical crops (avocados, mangoes, etc.), due to the mild winter climate that rarely drops below a minimum of 10 degrees, and which gives us sunshine almost every day of the year.
Rincón de la Victoria is very well connected to the other cities of Andalusia, because the Autovía de Mediterráneo (A7-E15) passes through the municipality. This road gives direct access to Malaga International Airport in 15 minutes and to Malaga's city centre, which is only 12 km away and can be accessed by various exits from the A7 or the MA-24 (formerly N-340).
This great location, and the friendly nature of its people, leads to it being a town that shows one of the highest levels of population growth in Andalusia.
The municipality consists of 4 population centres: La Cala del Moral, Rincón de la Victoria, Torre de Benagalbón and Benagalbón; the first three are located on the coastal strip and the latter is located in the interior.
Its 9 km of peaceful beaches offer tourists everything they need to enjoy their holidays.
